Sharon Mudd Van Brocklyn died peacefully on February 13, 2022. Sharon was predeceased by her beloved husband Rodman (Van) Van Brocklyn and is survived by five children: Susan Lyons Giangreco (Alan), Christopher Lyons (Anne), Allison Lyons Saunders (Jeffrey), Stephen Lyons (Kristine), and Todd Van Brocklyn (Aimee). She was also the adoring grandmother to nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Sharon was the first of four girls born to Mary and Arthur Mudd in Buffalo, NY. She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Ann Cleary, Patricia Reid, and Bobbie Lindner.
In 1968, as a single mom to four young children, Sharon was a force of nature.
Together, Sharon and Van created a home full of love where their children thrived.
