Sharon Trumbo, 76, of rural Ottawa, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, May 27. Sharon was born on July 23, 1939 in Ottawa to Wilbur and Eleanor (Swanson) Thomas. She married Robert F. Trumbo on September 18, 1960 in DeKalb. She was a member of Prairie Lakes Golf Course.
She is survived by her husband, Robert, three children, Steve (Kathy) Trumbo, of Rockford, Penny (Chuck) Fisher, of Bloomington, and John Trumbo, of LaSalle; 5 grandchildren: Ryan Trumbo, Jessica Trumbo, Evan OShea, Paige OShea, and Daniele Trumbo; 4 sisters: Ann (Pat) Hickey, of DeKalb, Wilma (Dale) Harvey, of Beaumont, Texas, Billie (Charlie) Osborne, of Franklin Grove, and Tina (Mike) Wales, of DeKalb.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
