Sharon Smith, 77 of Moberly passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021.  She was born February 20, 1944, in Moberly to the union of Lee Grover and Mildred Louise (Alexander) Kindell.  Sharon was a loving, kind, full-of-life person with a big heart touching the lives of everyone she met, with a big smile on her face. She attended the Pleasant View Baptist Church. She was a resident at Mark Twain Assisted Living, where the staff took loving care of her. For a short period, Sharon was a volunteer teacher assistant at Moberly Head Start, known affectionately to the children as Grandma Sharon.

Sharon was a companion to Delisa Frantzen, at Special Olympics games for several years. Her longtime sisterhood friends were Sharon Riley and Angela Harrison. Sharon was loved by so many; a book could not hold all the names.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Judy Brown and Cathy Houston; her husband Roger Smith; special friends, Marvin Stuck and Bill Boling.

Her living relatives are Karen and Bill Browning, daughter and son-in-law, Michael and Lori Perrigo Smith, son, and daughter-in-law; Joseph William and Annie Kindell, brother and sister-in-law; grandchildren, Greggory Smith, Jessica Avila, Cody Thompson, Kennedy Perrigo Smith, Lindsey Smith, Brian Smith, Ashley Smith, Amber Deling and Liam Henry; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
