It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon (Sherry) Howerton who passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2022 at the age of 73 in Westcliffe, Colorado.
Sherry graduated from high school in 1967 and upon graduation began her career in the insurance industry. In total, Sherry had 55 years of experience making many friends within her business.
Sherry and her little dog Freya moved to Westcliffe, Colorado where she enjoyed the beautiful mountains, boating on Lake Deweese and her friends, which she called the cabin crew: Jim, Margy, Mike, Juneal, Kris, Mike, Dana, Russ, Craig, Michelle, Jay, Stacey, Jane, John, Sarah and Scott whom she grew to cherish.
Sherry is survived by her son, Blaine Howerton; grandsons, Keenan and Zander; sisters, Seneca LaLonde (Jeff), Robin Armstrong (Grem); brother, Robert Rogovin (Hermie) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eleanor and Jack Rogovin. Sherry and her cousins Linda, Lisa, Philip, Ann, Macey and Emily had a special bond of love and she will be missed by all.
