Sharon Ruth (Ebersole) Graybill, 66, of Dakota went to be with the Lord Wednesday August 19, 2009 at her home. Born January 29, 1943 in Sterling, she was the daughter of Everett and Dorothy (Book) Ebersole. She was a 1961 graduate of Sterling High School and 1964 graduate of Freeport Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She and Robert L. Graybill were married February 13, 1965 at Freeport Mennonite Church, he preceded her in death on January 20, 2009. Sharon was an RN at Freeport Memorial Hospital and later worked for Medina Manor Nursing Center at Durand. She and her husband farmed in the Dakota area for many years. Her memberships include Freeport Mennonite Church where she was active in the children and music ministry, and the Stephenson County Farm Bureau. She volunteered for the Tri-District Ambulance and cooked in the lunch room for many years at the Schrader Marketing Center. She loved cooking and was well known for her pies and beautifully decorated cakes. She is survived by seven children and their families, Diane (Rony) Pineda, Jeremias and Lucas of East Chicago, IN; Douglas (Kristine) Graybill, Paul, Kayla and Shelly of Freeport; Donald (Sarah) Graybill, Ethan, Eli and Emily of Freeport; Darin (Josie) Graybill, Lindsay Willson of Ridott; David (Melody) Graybill, Morgan and Levi of Freeport; Deena (Jose) Elizalde, Daniel and Christina of Goshen, IN; Dottie (Julio) Delgadillo, Alex, Adrian and Isaac of Goshen, IN; her father Everett of Morrison; three sisters Nancy (John) Ebersole of Milledgeville; Janice (Don) Calsyn of Greenfield, MA; Marcia (Bruce) Jackson of Sterling; one brother Verne (Marge) Ebersole of Middlebury, IN; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother and husband.
