Sharon Williamson McClellan, age 50, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. She was born on July 2, 1971 in Orlando, FL.
Sharon is preceded in death by her son William “Billy” McClellan. Sharon is survived by her husband, Scott McClellan; children, Michael McCray and his wife Kaleigh, Hope McClellan; father, Victor T. Williamson and mother, Joyce Ermer Williamson; sister, Kristen Allen and brother, Brian Williamson. She is also survived by a long list of nieces, nephews, friends and students who will dearly miss her.
Sharon spent 28 years working for the school system and the last 20 years working for the Coweta County School System. She had her specialist degree from Georgia Southern and she had a great passion for helping her students. She loved life to the fullest, adored her children and had a great love for all of her friends and family.
The funeral service celebrating the life Sharon lived is Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan with Rev. Frank Powers officiating. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
