Sharon was born December 8, 1939 to her parents Vera Annabelle Garbe and Merle William Garbe in Denver Colorado. Sharon, in her youth, was in the Pep Club. She worked at Mountain States Telephone CO In the Directory Dept. and Sales Clerical Unit. Sharon was also a nurse’s aide at Lamb Memorial Hospital. She then went on to hold a file clerk and accounts payable position until she found her passion job working in Blackhawk at the Isle of Capri Casino. She was at home there for 8 years until she retired in 2007.
Sharon always had a lot of friends and enjoyed dancing. She even belonged to the USO in her youth along with her sisters, Pam and Nancy. Sharon and her sisters used to also love to go to Teddy’s Lounge and dance to the oldies music there.
