LEISHMAN, Sharon Lea, 81, of Brigham City, Utah, passed away on October 12, 2022. Sharon was born on June 10, 1941, in Des Moines, Iowa to Merrill “Gene” and Evelyn “Fanny” Waller.
Sharon was a retired lab technician for ATK. She spent her retirement years devoting endless hours discovering the amazing family genealogy history of the Waller and Leishman families, enjoying crafts, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
Sharon was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Relief Society, along with many other callings. She had a strong testimony of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. She enjoyed serving as a missionary in the Special Needs Seminary at Box Elder High School.
Sharon is survived by her two sons Keven (Ruth) Glider, Rexburg, ID and Trae Glider, Colorado Springs, CO; her brother Raymond (Sharon) Waller, Tucson, AZ; stepson Chad (Janet) Leishman, Ogden, UT and stepdaughter Robin (Bill) Miller, Santa Clara, UT; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, plus 3 new great-grandchildren on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Kevin and Merrill; her husband Tony Leishman; and grandson Colby Leishman.
The family would like to express a special thanks to the remarkable caregivers at Maple Springs Assisted Living and Aegis Hospice for the compassionate care they showed to our dear Sharon, along with all who cared and ministered to her, including her wonderful friends and neighbors. We are forever grateful for your commitment to serving Sharon and others.
