Sharon L. Wehking, 77, of Centralia passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 at her home. She was born December 14, 1941 in Centralia, daughter of Ora Baldridge and Veneta (Douthit) Baldridge. She married Howard Wehking on December 16, 1961 and he survives in Centralia.
In addition to her husband of 57 years, Howard Wehking of Centralia, she is also survived by two sons: Barry L. Wehking and wife Bev and Rodney Wehking and wife Debra all of Centralia; four grandchildren: Heather Wehking, Andrew Wehking, Molly Wehking, and Caleb Wehking all of Centralia; a brother-in-law: Bill Wehking and wife Kathy of O’Fallon; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Barbara Owens, Donna Beal and sister-in-law Janet Garnholz. Sharon worked at Kirlin’s in Centralia for 21 years. She was a member of Calumet Street Christian Church in Centralia. She was also a member of the Senior Circle in Mt. Vernon with her husband, Howard. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s Fan. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.
