Sharon L. Frankenfield, 66, of Emmaus, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 27, 2018 while in the care of Lehigh Valley Hospice. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Edna (Wambold) Frankenfield. Sharon was a graduate of Nazareth High School and later attended Muhlenberg College where she earned her bachelor’s degree. She then went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Library Science from Clarion University. Sharon worked as a librarian for the Allentown Public Library for 26 years, first as a children’s librarian and then in reference. She conducted many reading clubs for both children and adults. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hecktown. Sharon enjoyed traveling, schooner sailing along the Maine coastline and visiting with friends on Campobello Island.

Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Beverly Clause and her husband James H. of Nazareth; nephew James A Clause and his wife Elizabeth; nieces Kelly Whittaker and her husband Valentine and Amanda Clause and her husband Patrick Mayo and 8 loving and adored great nieces and nephews. Sharon is also survived by her beloved dog companion Spencer.
