Sharon Kay Wallace

The beach, the color pink, encouraging others, and making memories with family are all things that Sharon Wallace took very seriously. Sharon passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 60 after a yet-to-be-determined lung condition took over quickly. She was surrounded in passing by her loving husband and daughters who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest, just as she did.

Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. A fighter and a relentless achiever-she always had a positive outlook on life and a smile on her face. She had an uncanny ability to turn your whole mood around with just her presence.

She found immense joy in the simple pleasures in life; taking walks with her husband, riding the fastest rollercoasters with her grandchildren, listening to the ocean waves, and having a glass of wine with friends were some of her favorite joys. She lived with love in her heart and the beach in her soul. She truly appreciated every single second of her life.

To describe Sharon in a few paragraphs is an impossible task, but if you didn’t know her- just know she was the physical embodiment of pure sunshine (you know,
the good sunshine- the feeling after being stuck in a cold room all day and stepping outside for the first time to be finally engulfed in the feeling of warmth? That is how she made you feel).

Sharon is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael; her two daughters, Katie Dixon (husband Sam Dixon) and Josie Wallace; and 3 beautiful grandchildren that brought her so much joy- Clark (6) and Callan Dixon (2), and Blessing Mclamb (5).

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Wanda and David Fisher; her brother David and her sister Summer.
