Sharon Kay Bird, 78, of Franklin passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin.
She was born December 25, 1937 to Arlus W. and Bertha (Whittinghill) Hiland in Crawfordsville, IN.
She worked as a human resource director for the College Network in Indianapolis and enjoyed doing needle work and pictures of trees.
She is survived by her son, Grant (Sue) Howe and a granddaughter, Sophia K. Howe both of Marshall, Arkansas and a niece, Melinda Sue Hiland of Whiteland.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Max W. Hiland.
