Sharon K. (Schiefley) Woodruff, 82, formerly of Sandusky and Clyde, died at Otterbein Portage Valley on Tuesday, December 9, 2014.
Mrs. Woodruff was born on April 7, 1932 in Sandusky to the late Ottomer August and Griselda Magdaline (Stamm) Schiefley. She graduated from Sandusky High School in 1950. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Sandusky.
She was a member of the 1950 Graduate Lunch Bunch.
Sharon had worked as an Ohio Bell Operator and also at the former Dale’s Market in Clyde; Al’s Shoprite, Clyde; Buckeye Mart, Fremont and Elisha Ramsey Home in Clyde.
On August 19, 1951, she marred William Woodruff, he preceded her in death on March 2, 1994.
Survivors include four children, Teri Cunningham, Gibsonburg; Linda Fields, Sandusky; Dennis Woodruff, Fremont and Amy (Shawn) Swick, Green Springs. Eight grandchildren ,nine great grandchildren and one brother, Fernando (Harriet) Schiefley of Boone NC also survive.
