Those left to honor Sharon’s memory are her husband, William R. “Rusty” Spuehr of Sully; daughter, Andrea Allen of Ankeny; son, Dustin (Emily) Hendricks of Grundy Center; her four grandchildren, Allyson and Joshua Allen, and Dylan and Cale Hendricks; two sisters, Shirley (Kenneth) Hoksbergen of Grinnell, and Sandy (Mike) Little of Barnes City; three brothers, Denny (Sandee) Van Cleave of Holcomb, Kansas, Bill (Sharon) Van Cleave of Bloomfield, and Mike Van Cleave of Mt. Dora, Florida; four sisters-in-law, Janice Hendricks of Reasnor, Kim (Mark) Klamfoth of Ankeny, Julie (Pat) Schmader of Wylie, Texas, and Erika Karnik of Sidney, Nebraska; brother-in-law, Delmar Hendricks of Red Hook, New York; her mother-in-law, Virginia M. Spuehr of Urbandale; and many nieces and nephews that Sharon LOVED Dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mavis R. (Chandler) Van Cleave; first husband, Duane Hendricks; brother, Dwayne Van Cleave, and brother-in-law, Larry Hendricks.

Sharon graduated from Montezuma High School in 1965.

Sharon worked for EDS in Des Moines.

The family would like to give a Special Thank You to Dr. Hiatt, Dr. Franco, the nurses on 8th floor at Mercy, and to the staff at Mercy Hospice in Johnston for all the care and support you have given.
