Sharon Jane Spargo passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her home in Belton on Sunday, May 14, 2017 after a brief struggle with cancer. She was born in Lomax, Texas, April 21, 1938 to Jack Blanton Daniels and Ruby Irene (Rowland) Daniels.

She grew up and attended school in Big Spring, Texas.  This is where she met the love of her life, Alvia Spargo Jr., a young airman from Arkansas who was stationed at Webb Air Force Base.  After 43 years of marriage, he preceded her in death in October 1996. They resided in Big Spring where they raised their 3 children for many years before moving to Mansfield, Texas.

Sharon retired from Southwest Office Systems in Fort Worth in July 2001 after 20 years of service. Upon her retirement she moved to Burnet, Texas to be close to her daughter and family and then moved with them to Belton in 2004.

Sharon enjoyed bowling, painting, sewing, crocheting, writing poems and in later years of her life she enjoyed working word search books. She loved to have fun and laugh, but her greatest passion in life was giving of herself to her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends.

She began her personal relationship with Jesus Christ at age 12 which gave her the peace to leave this life knowing her eternal home is now in His presence and with other family and friends. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church of Belton.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, three sisters Helena Broyles, Cordelia Keese, and Zula Thompson, one brother Murphy Daniels, one brother-in-law Jim Sagley, and one great-granddaughter Paige Spargo.
