Sharon Irene Whiting, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at her daughter’s home, on May 10, 2021. Sharon was born February 22, 1946 in Des Moines to parents, Lester and Marilyn Fleck. She graduated from East High School in 1964. On November 2, 1983 she was united in marriage to Dean Whiting. She worked as a realtor for over 20 years for First Realty. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great granddaughter.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Dean; her daughter, Debbie (David) Crouse; her son, Bryan (Megan) Whiting; three grandchildren, Malory Gruver and twins Madison and Mason Whiting; great granddaughter, Tori Gruver; brother, Larry (Sandy) Fleck.
