Sharon Shipley Davis, 67, Alexandria, passed away August 26, 2008, at Morrison Woods-Muncie, Indiana after a brief illness. She was born June 24, 1941, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and resided in Madison County most of her life.
Sharon was a graduate of the Indiana Academy of Cicero. She was a homemaker and had been a hairdresser. She was a member of Anderson Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Geneology Association through the Anderson Public Library.
She is survived by her husband whom she married in 1965, John Davis, Sr. of Alexandria; six children, Scott “Bob” Davis of Indianapolis, John Davis Jr.& wife Bethania of Mooreland, Sandra Clabaugh & husband Jerry of Alexandria; Tim Davis & wife Suzy of Chattanooga, Tennessee, David P. Davis & wife Chris of Huntsville, Alabama and Sarah Reinhart & husband Michael of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews. Also surviving are many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Mildred Bush Shipley; several brothers, sisters, aunts, and uncles.
