Sharon Donovan Wood, 83, of Bethlehem Twp., formerly of Clinton, NJ passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022. She was the beloved wife of John William Wood with whom she shared over 48 years of loving marriage. Born on February 13, 1939 in Green Bay, WI she was a daughter of the late Alwyn and Rita (Donovan) Findeizen.
Sharon worked as a Teacher for over 45 years in the Troy Michigan School District, High Bridge School District, and Flemington Raritan School District until she retired. She was an Active member at Church of the Holy Spirit, Episcopal, in Lebanon, NJ where she sang in the choir, served on the Vestry, taught Sunday school, served in the nursery and lead the Youth group. She was very active with the Lambertville food pantry. Also, a member of the Sweet Adeline’s, and was a big part of the theater community. Sharon volunteered at the Clinton Art Center and was an avid artist.
Survivors: Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her husband John; sons, Christopher Klaus and wife Judy, and Kevin Klaus and wife Laura; daughters, Wendy Wood, Lisa Wilson and husband Ron, Laura Baggerly and husband Guy, and Debby Hardin and husband Chris; 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren with 2 on the way; brothers, Thomas Donovan, and Stephen Donovan and wife Sherri; sister, Kathleen Flaherty. Sharon was predeceased by daughter, Sarah Marie Wood.
