Sharline Ann Smith, 74 of Odin, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015, at Odin Healthcare Center. She was born September 5, 1940, in Geneva, IL, the daughter of John Barrington and Marie (Seefeldt) Barrington.
She married Robert Smith on August 2, 1970, and he survives in Alton.
In addition to her husband of 44 years, she is also survived by a daughter, Deborah Godwin, and husband James of Centralia, two grandchildren: Jessica Godwin and William Godwin both of Centralia; two sisters: Sharon Hoffman of Litchfield and Pat (Barrington) Oberly; a brother, John Barrington of Green Bay, WI; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gene Barrington.
Sharline enjoyed croetching, collecting porcelain dolls, reading her Bible, and playing the keyboard. She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren and watching the Hallmark Channel or the Christian Broadcasting Channel. Most of all she loved spending time with family.
