Shari LeJeune Parsons-Kazar, 54, of Merritt Island, FL, passed away peacefully in her home in the early morning of August 16, 2018, after battling cancer.
She is survived by her children, Brandon Kazar and Brandi Kazar, as well as her siblings, Reggie Parsons-Kirk, Brandon Edwards, Bradley Edwards, Rhonda Edwards-Schipper, and Penny Miller.
Born October 6, 1963, in Kissimmee, FL, she was the daughter of Sharon Baker Parsons and her late biological father, William Edwards, as well as her adoptive father, Paul Parsons. Shari grew up in Cocoa Beach, Florida; she graduated from Cocoa Beach High School in 1981 and briefly attended Brevard Community College. She was self-employed, cleaning houses and condos for a living.
Shari was a kind and sensitive woman; surrounding her character was an admirable amount of patience and tolerance for others. Although she struggled to hold a note, she had a passion for music, and found enjoyment playing her tambourine, even in her final days.
Grind for Life, a local cancer organization in Cocoa Beach, was very supportive to Shari and her family during her trials with cancer.
