Evangelist Shannon Patrice White, the daughter of Gloria Dianne White and the late Thomas Lee White, was born May 10, 1980 and departed this life on August 28, 2014 at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, SC.

In the early years, she became a member of Greater Unity AME Church, where she served as a member of the Youth Choir, Young People’s Division and Church School.  Shannon always enjoyed singing.

She attended The College of Charleston and Claflin University.  While at Claflin, she answered the “Call” at Abendant Life Church where she delivered her First Initial Sermon.  After many years of worshipping at Abundant Life Church, Shannon later joined Perfecting Zion Institutional Church in Orangeburg.  Under the leadership of Elder Darren Clinton, she served as a spiritual youth advocate, a member of PZIC Daughters of Zion, Praise Team, Voices of Zion, and was a Senior Evangelist ordained at the Holy Convocation 2014.

She attended the public schools of Orangeburg School District Three and was a 1998 graduate of Holly Hill-Roberts High School.  Shannon was employed at Guardsmark as a security officer.

Evangelist White leaves loving memories to: Her loving and caring mother of the home; one sister, Brittany White; three brothers: Jarmall White, Barry Gilliard and Atiba (Francine) Void; seven aunts: Yvonne (Minister William) Smalls, Maebell (Tommy) Johnson, Alice Young, Margie Ritter, Janet Sellers, Lille M. Mack and Lorraine Duberry; three uncles: Marion (Janie) White, Benjamin (Mary) Clinton and Eddie Mack; three nieces: Ivory Void, Chynna Clark and Sha’Niya Clark; two nephews: Attaurius R. White and Tyler C. White; a special adopted aunt, Pastor Duranice Pace; seven great aunts, three great uncles, a number of cousins, friends and church family members.
