Shane Thomas Pelletier, Beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 26, 2022. He was 34.
Shane was born March 18, 1988, in Missoula, Montana.
Shane was a fun-loving boy, whose energy and magnetic personality attracted many friends. He taught his friend Joel how to climb trees and swim under water. He had compassion and love for people of all walks of life and especially loved his cousins and family.
Being in the outdoors was a true passion of Shane’s. He loved going to his dad’s cabin on Seeley Lake and camping with his mom at Holland Lake and Glacier. He loved hiking, swimming, snowboarding and backpacking when time allowed. He treasured history and was proud of his Irish and French heritage. He was a talented artist in drawing and painting. He could impersonate almost anyone to our great entertainment.
Shane was diagnosed with a Schizophrenic Disorder when he was 27. It made for many challenges in his life but Shane persevered and fought to live despite the struggle.
Shane is survived by his parents, Thomas Pelletier and Deborah Sullivan; sister, Jenna (Asa Prewett), nieces and nephews: Izayus, Amira, Asher and Ayla; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
Shane was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Dorothy and Gerald Sullivan and his paternal grandparents Mary Jean and Joseph Pelletier.
