Shane Michael Shorter, four month old infant son of Sean Michael Shorter and Crystal Dawn Walter of Grafton, flew away with the angels, Friday, March 16, 2012. He was born October 24, 2011, in Clarksburg, WV. His sister, Brooklyn Dawn Shorter survives.
In addition to his parents and his sister he is survived by: his paternal grandparents, Gary and Tina Shorter, Jr., of Grafton; maternal grandparents William E. “Bill” Walter, and Betty Lee Patton and husband Jim, all of Grafton, paternal great grandmother, Nancy Shorter, of Grafton; maternal great grandmothers, Marie Shumaker, of Grafton, and Lottie Jeanette (Hiaskiell) Walter, of Grafton; three aunts, Stacey Marie Robinson and husband Joe, Ruth Ann Walter, and Megan Shorter, all of Grafton; several cousins, and several great aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by: his paternal great grandfather Gary Shorter, Sr.; Ronnie and Diane Lake; maternal great grandfathers, Elroy Shumaker and James A. Walter.
