SHAARON JACKSON LIVELY
1953–2013
SHAARON JACKSON LIVELY, entered into Eternal rest, Friday, January 25, 2013. Shaaron was
born on September 15th 1953, Shaaron was adopted into a home by a father who loved her with all his heart. She resided in Chattanooga Tennessee on Lookout Mountain. At the age of 17 she graduated high school and moved to Atlanta to further her studies in art. She worked very hard to fund her schooling and meet expenses. After the death of her father, Shaaron married Robert William Lively, an officer in the U.S. Air Force. Soon he was stationed in Okinawa Japan and Shaaron moved with him. Two years later she gave birth to their first child. Christopher Aaron Lively, on Jan 15th 1989. Shortly after his birth the family was assigned to Hurlburt Field Fl. and moved to Navarre where they had a new house built. The birth of her second son, Shelby Patrick Lively occured on March 24th 1992. In 1997, after nearly ten years of marriage they parted ways. Although never divorced they lived seperate lives. The split and subsequent life was amicable for both and they maintained a good friendship.
In 1999, Shaaron met Steven Gardinier of Fort Walton Beach. Soon after, she started to learn to ride a motorcycle. It turned out to be the second biggest passion of her life, after her children. She was not a “natural rider” and worked very hard to become proficient. She suggested that she and Steven also join the Sand Dollar Motorcycle Club of Fort Walton Beach. At first afraid to take to the streets, she soon was riding around town on her Honda Rebel. Soon after, she bought a Honda Shadow and rode that for some months. Finding her final ride, she bought a Honda Magna. It had 14,000 miles on it when she got it. When she bequeathed it to Shelby Lively, it had just over 100,000 miles on it. She then acquired a 2003 Honda Magna. Deciding to give support to the Military, she joined the local Patriot Guard Riders to honor our fallen heroes and veterans. She whole-heartedly supported them. During that time, she started to actively support Wounded Warrior Project. During Steven’s frequent deployments to Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, she kept busy riding for the support of those groups.
She was an avid rider and would not miss an opportunity to ride. Working at the Valparaiso airport as a parking attendant, she rode back and forth to Navarre daily. Always with a smile and a kind word, she loved to shuttle customers from and to the terminal. She always had a smile and was able to light up a room just by entering it. Smart and witty, she drew people to her.
With her death we have all lost a great friend, mother and patriot.
