Sgt. John E. ” Jack ” Burke Jr. of Medway, formerly of Quincy and a Corrections Officer Supervisor at the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office in Dedham,MA passed away peacefully at home on Thursday November 29, 2012. He was 60 years old.
Survivors include his three cherished children who were the focal point of his life, Dylan J. Burke, Dayna C. Burke, David J. Burke all of Medway, his three sisters, Gail A. Haslam and her husband Edwin of North Carolina and Florida, Janice B. Christen and her husband Paul of Sagamore Beach, Denise C. Doyle and her husband Richard of Quincy, and his former wife Kelly ( Pavlosky ) Burke also of Medway. Other survivors include his aunt Mary A. Burke of Dorchester, several nieces, nephews, cousins and his many friends and co-workers at the Norfolk County House Of Correction and Jail in Dedham,MA. The Burke family would like to acknowledge and thank William LeBlanc and his daughter Jeanette for their dedicated care and support of Jack during his final days.
