Seth Edward Nicholson, age 24, of Clarksburg, WV entered into eternal life on Friday, June 10, 2016. He was born on June 13, 1991; he was the son of Karolann (Koreski) Mazzie and the late Rusty Mazzie and Ronald and Irene Nicholson of Clarksburg, WV.

Seth attended RCB high School for his freshman and sophomore years being a member of the “Flying Eagles” basketball and baseball teams. He then transferred to Notre Dame High School where he was a catcher and outfielder for the “Fighting Irish Baseball” team receiving All-State honors during his Junior and Senior years. He was also a member of the Notre Dame Basketball team. Seth graduated with academic achievements being the first recipient of the Rusty Mazzie Memorial Scholarship Fund in 2010.

Seth attended Fairmont State University majoring in History. He and his lifelong friend, Christian Delapena spent the summer of 2012 in Chillicothe, Ohio attending the Recording Workshop where they received honors and certifications in music theory.

Seth is survived by his parents; two sisters, Olivia Kristin Nicholson and Victoria Paige Mazzie; brothers, Noah Russell Mazzie, Brandon, Joshua and Leo Nicholson, all of Clarksburg, WV. He is the oldest grandson of Edward and Connie “Nonnie” (Salentro) Koreski of Hepzibah, WV and James & Katherine “Mawmaw” Nicholson of Clarksburg, WV; He is the nephew of John & Kristin “Keek” Brunett of Clarksburg, WV; cousins, Sophie & Alexa Brunett. Also surviving him are his uncle money, James “Sonny” Nicholson of Clarksburg and uncle and Aunt Brian and Kim Burt and their Children, Christian, Kyle and Wesley of New London, OH; aunts and uncles, Brenda J. Mazzie, Jimmy & Annie Mazzie, Frank & Virginia Mazzie, Paul Mazzie & his companion, Sherry (Frum) Marsh, all of Clarksburg, WV, Danny & Rita Knight of Bridgeport, WV.

Seth was preceded in death by his step-father, Russell J. “Rusty” Mazzie on (May 22, 2009); two uncles, Michael A. Mazzie on (July 25, 2009) and John F. Mazzie on (March 27, 2014); an aunt, Brenda D. Mazzie on (November 8, 2015).

A special thanks to his friends who have loved and supported him and will be honored to be his pallbears; Willie Romano, Christian Delapena, Vincent Vespoint, Ethan Kesling, J.W. Stutler, Bobby Prarie, Eddie Prarie and the late Gary Carter; along with his cousins, Wesley and Christian Burt, Michael Koreski and his uncle, John Brunett.
