Sergio “Kako” Rocha, 52, of Elkhart, was found passed away at his home at 8:50 a.m. Oct. 3, following a sudden illness.
He was born in McAllen, Texas, on June 9, 1964, to the late Celestino and Augustina (Lara) Rocha, and later married Deanna L. Gibson on September 29, 1986, in Ohio.
She survives him at home. Also surviving are his children, Sergio Jr., Adrian, Alisha and Daniel (Danielle) Rocha, all of Elkhart; brothers Rolando, Rene and Roel Rocha of McAllen and Margarito (Mary) Rocha of Houston, Texas; sisters Linda (Geraldo) Garcia, Lupe (Larry) Watson and Norma Gunts, all of Elkhart and Becky (Peter) Muniz and Rosie Rocha, both of McAllen; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four siblings.
