Sergio Fernandes, age 64, of Bethlehem, died Saturday, December 5, 2009, at Hospital of University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pa. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he was the son of the late Erminio and Nezia (Pires) Fernandes. Sergio worked as a mechanic for many years in the air conditioning field. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Olinda (deAlmeida) at home; a son; sisters and many nieces and nephews.
