It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Robert Paul Klein, who entered eternal rest on 4 May 2018. Robert, 74 years of age, leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Cathy and three children, Robert Brian Klein residing in Spokane, Washington; Robyn O. Klein (Dave) of Palm Coast, FL; and Carrie R. (John) Ordonez of Melbourne, and three adored grandchildren, Charlie Catherine, Jamie Albert and Kelly Albert Ordonez. Bob also leaves behind his brother, Richard (Sonja) Klein of Arizona; brothers-in-law Billy Reeves, Charles (Debbie) Reeves and James Reeves, all of Merritt Island, and so many deeply loved nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Laura Klein of Santa Barbara, California.
Bob was an avid golfer and a member of the Suntree Country Club, serving in many capacities on several committees and the Board of Directors, including Vice President. Most enjoyable to him were the many years of comradery with various groups of golfers, but he loved “the Renegades” intensely. He volunteered in many PGA and LPGA events over the years; but his most cherished and proud events were working with The Arnold Palmer Invitational (on the 12th hole) and the Father Son Golf Tournament.
