Salem – Selma Irene Carline, age 103, of Salem, died at 7:28 a.m. Friday, August 17, 2018 at Salem North Healthcare Center. She was born March 10, 1915 in Salem, a daughter of the late Milo W. and Edna M. (Grace) Adams.

Her husband, Carmen R. Carline, whom she married in June 11, 1949, preceded her in death in March 21, 1979.

Survivors include two sons, Allan L. Cope of Columbiana and James R. Carline of Leetonia; a daughter, Sharon Cope Parrish of Salem; a sister, Hazel Bruckner of Zephyrhills, Florida; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were three sons, William V. Cope, Robert D. Cope, and Carl D. Cope; a sister, Betty J. Coffman; and four brothers, Milo “Bud” Adams Jr., Gordon L. Adams, Richard A. Adams and Calvin K. Adams; and a grandson, Christopher E. Parrish.
