Sedeina Ailene Tate Hunt, 83, Anderson, passed gently from this life on April 19, 2011 with her daughter and son-in-law at her side.
She was born October 14, 1927 in Bono, Arkansas, the fifth of six children to Alva and Minnie Tate. She married George “Gene” Hunt of May 10, 1947. They had one daughter, Linda Diann Terry Humerickhouse, grandson, Anthony D. Romine and his wife, Aimee and his children, Kaylee and Max meant the world to her. Also missing her is her extended family, Michelle, Lauren, Anna, and Alden Grile.
She was a very caring, loving person who was known for her southern accent, sense of humor and hospitality. The coffeepot was always on, and the welcome mat out for anyone who stopped by for a visit, or needed a place to stay for a while. She’ll be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Last October, she got a surprise visit from seven of her special nieces from Arkansas. I can’t remember ever seeing her any happier than the three days they spent here with her. Thanks to Alvella, Kaye, Rhonda, Teresa, Glenna, Chrylene and Connie for making her 83rd birthday so special. A very heartfelt thanks to a wonderful friend and neighbor, Ireland Pasley, who was there with help, and support any time day or night.
We will be forever grateful to him. Also, thanks to the staff at Countryside Manor, especially, the two Angies, Courtney and Rosie; special friends, Jim and Mary Ann Watters and the church family from the Church of Christ for their prayers. Thanks to niece, Geneva Downham, for the love, cards, caring and concern. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends who loved her very much.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, and five siblings. She is in God’s loving arms with no more pain to bear.
