Sean Pierre Squalls, Sr., was born, October 15, 1966 in New York City, New York to Cora Squalls-Moreland and the late Joseph Robert Squalls.  Sean received his education in the Washington, D.C. school system.  He attended Dunbar High School but decided to get his GED at the age of 16.  He attended PSI Computer School, the University of the District of Columbia and Baltimore Bible College.

He worked for Comcast Cable Company as a Quality Control Investigator and as a Fiber Optic Technician and Washington Beef Company as a sales representative.  But these positions could not satisfy his entrepreneurial spirit.  He pursued various businesses such as selling cars, selling wholesale clothing, various investments opportunities and network marketing.

Sean was full of life and a ball of laughter with everyone he encountered.  If you knew Sean you knew he was always on joke time.  He could make you laugh at the drop of a dime!  A food connoisseur, Sean loved to eat.  Seafood held a special place in his heart.  He was a certified “foodie.”  He loved to go fishing, watch movies, participating in robust debates and he loved to shop.  Of the many things Sean loved, nothing meant more to him or measured to the love he had for his children and his relationship with God.  He was an active member of the church especially in men’s ministry.  Sean will be remembered for his huge heart, giving spirit and his protective nature.

Sean departed this life suddenly on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, and he will be truly missed.  He leaves to cherish his memories; his four children, Shaunetta Danielle Squalls, Sean Pierre Squalls, Jr., Silas Joseph Squalls and Selah Serena Squalls, one grandson, Zion, his mother, Cora Squalls_Moreland, step-father, Daniel Moreland, two sisters, Erica Squalls Perry and Monique Squalls, two nieces, Tatianna Perry and Erika Perry, his best friends, Michael Muse, Willie Smith and Darryl Besley and a host of family and friends.
