A Life Well Cherished
Sean Ivan Dickson was born December 29, 1968 and departed this world on March 3, 2018.
He was the son to the late Frederick and Mary Dickson. Sean grew up in Southeast Washington, DC with his mother Mary. He later attended Potomac High School where he graduated in 1988. He then assisted his father by running the family bus business for years. Along the years, Sean was always around to lend a helping hand if you needed anything. He would always say “I got you dog”.
Sean began working for Future Care Healthcare in Clinton, Maryland under the supervision of Richard Johnson who he respected. Sean loved his work family. Sean loved boxing at the House of Champions. He also enjoyed football and basketball. His favorite team’s were the 49ers and North Carolina Tarheels. Sean also enjoyed listening to Go-Go music and his favorite color was red.
Sean was a dedicated father to Darrell, Donte, and his puddin Shonnneka Alston. He was loved by so many people. Sean was the life of the party, with his kool-aid smile that could brighten up any room. Sean was very strong and overcame many struggles but God called his angel home on March 3, 2018 at LaPlata Hospital, Maryland.
Sean leaves to cherish his memory three children, Darrell, Shonneka and Donte Alston. Six grandchildren Za’mir Alston, Latrell Britton, Omero, Omya, Darrell Jr., Sir Tairo and Marrel Alston. Four brothers; Kenny, Greg, Donnie, and Donte; One sister Tyesha; One daughter-in-law Tia Alston; His childhood best friend and mother of his children Peggy Alston and his special friend Lavonne Jones. Sean will truly be missed by his family and friends.
