Sean Ryan Betts, a proud Idaho native, died Sunday, March 1, 2015 in Moscow. He was 23. Sean was born February 7, 1992 in Moscow to Kerry J. and Karen J. Anderson Betts. The family lived in Troy until 2003 when they moved to Moscow where Sean finished school, graduating from Moscow High School in 2010. Sean had worked as a line cook for Applebee’s from the time he was 15, and until January, seasonally for Les Schwab Tire Store in Moscow. Sean had a great love and respect for the outdoors, a skilled hunter, enjoyed fishing, reloading, traveling back roads, Country music, big trucks and was thinking about moving to Potlatch because Moscow had “gotten too big.” Sean is survived by his parents, Kerry and Karen in Moscow, his sisters, Erin of Seattle and Katie of Moscow. He also leaves his grandmothers, Janice Anderson of Hazel Park, Michigan and Beverly Ritchie of Allendale, Michigan, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of good friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Dennis Anderson and Larry Betts.
