Scytha E. “Susie” Dick, 66, of Bloomington died on Thursday at Bloomington Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born October 1, 1943 in Bloomington and was the daughter of Joseph William and Norma Imogene (Welch) Rogers. Susie loved people, never met a stranger and had a smile for everybody that she met.

She worked for many years cleaning houses and had also worked at Hooks Drugs, Sarkes Tarzian and RCA. She was a member of Apostolic Bible Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher for many years and was also past president of the Ladies Auxiliary for the church.

Survivors include her husband Dasel R. Dick of Bloomington, two sons Steve Moat, Mark Moat (Lisa) , one step-daughter Erica DeHart, two sisters, Linda D. Avery (Bill) and Alberta June Arnett all of Bloomington and one brother Joseph Meredith Rogers (Ruth) of Greenwood.

She is also survived by three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one step-great grandchild, two nephews and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Lois Imogene Rogers and brother James Richard Rogers.
