Scott R. Cranmer, age 61, of Salem Ohio, died at 3:50 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Beeghly Oaks Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Boardman. He was born February 3, 1951 in Salem Ohio, son of the late Dean and Eleanor (Bailey) Cranmer. Before his retirement, Mr. Cranmer was a Lieutenant with the Salem Police Department for 28 years and then a Bailiff at the Columbiana County Court Municipal Court System and Director of Public Safety for Salem.
He was a 1969 graduate of Salem High School and attended Kent State University. Survivors include two sisters, Linda Cook of Salem and Sally (Donald) Vocca of Pataskala OH; five brothers, Lee (Helen) Cranmer of Salem, David (Barbara) Cranmer of Lisbon, Earl (Christine) Cranmer of Fort Worth, TX, Richard (Sandra) Cranmer of Salem, and Kim (Rita) Cranmer of Akron OH; and several nieces and nephews.
