Scott “Scotty Dog” Craig, was born June 9, 1958 in McCook, Nebraska to Dorsey and Leonard Craig became a “free spirit” on December 5th, 2015.
Scott graduated from Caldwell High School in 1976. He went to college for 1 year and returned to Caldwell where he worked and acquired another “family” at Super Save Market for the next 18 years. He went on to work at Pioneer Title Co. and lastly at Gallimaufries Tune 2, as a small engine repair technician.
In 1985 Scott married Diane Neebel and had his “mini-me” and “the apple of his eye”,Kayla Renee, in 1987.
Scott was regarded as a highly intelligent individual with unlimited potential. He lived his life full of love and compassion. He treasured his time with his family and the camaraderie of his peers. Scott celebrated his 9th year of sobriety on November 16th, 2015.
Scott is survived by his beautiful daughter, Kayla Craig; and best friend, Diane Craig; Uncle Dick and Aunt Christy; his “Little Big Sister”, Roxie Borlaug and “Big Little Sister” Cindy Wood; loving nephews and nieces, Matt and Kelly, Starr Lyn, Stacy, and Travis; and adoring grandnieces, Skyler and Dakota.
He will forever be in our hearts and never forgotten. We love and miss you Scotty! Until we meet again…
