Scott Henley, 41, of New Meadows passed away Monday, September 23, 2013.
Scott was born in Chula Vista, California August 21, 1972, During his life he resided in California and Tennessee settling in Boise, Idaho in 1983. He graduated from Boise High School and Northwest Lineman’s College in Nampa. Scott was a journeyman electrical lineman, commercial and residential electrician, and worked extensively in the construction
trades. At the time of his death, he was employed by Frye Custom Log Homes and was learning the log home construction trade, which he was enjoying immensely.
He is survived by his mother and father, Sandra and Jim Henley, his sister, Kim Henley and her children, Cody Day, Courtney Day, and Kaylee Blush and her daughter, Faith Aspen King, all of New Meadows and his Grandmother, Betty Childs who resides in Meridian, Id. Although, Scott never married, he felt he had found the woman in his life, Angie Moore and resided with her and her children in New Meadows. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Katy Bowman and his grandfather, James R. Henley, all from California.
All who knew Scott, would tell you he was a happy-go-lucky kind of person who tried to
enjoy life to the fullest. He was devoted to and adored his mother and father and was
Scott’s family wishes to express our greatest appreciation for the extensive efforts of the McCall paramedic group and the McCall hospital staff in their attempts to return him to us.
