Obituary of Scott G. Rockwood
Age 61, passed away on Monday April 23rd, 2018. He was born on October, 8th 1956 in Portland, OR to Samuel Spencer Rockwood and Jane Gray Rockwood. He was the younger of two children. He grew up between Portland, OR, Lorain, OH, and Batavia, NY, before the family settled in Roseville, MN and finally Eagan, MN. He attended Kellogg High School and played on the football team before attending St. Olaf College and finishing his BA at the University of Minnesota. Scott’s passion was baseball, he was the manager and coach of the Rosetown A’s for over three decades. He loved all sports, but the Twins and Gopher basketball had a special place in his heart. Scott had a heart of gold and he loved animals very much, especially his cats. Scott is survived by his daughter, Tess Rockwood Hoag (TJ Hoag); his sister Ann Rockwood and former wife, Mary Hinderscheid.
