Scott Alexander Chase dearly loved husband and father moved on to his Heavenly home, September 18, 2021, at the age of 58. He was surrounded by love, as his wife, children and family were there to bid him farewell for now. In his last days, he assured his wife that he would be waiting with his heavenly family, while his earthly family fulfilled God’s purpose for their lives here on earth.

He was born to Richard & Loretta (Kirk) Chase, on November 4, 1962, in Hillside, Illinois. Scott graduated from Naperville North High School, in Illinois, and later moved to Arizona where he joined the Navy. After his service in the Navy, he returned to Illinois, and eventually back to Naperville. In Illinois, he worked in the grocery industry where he met his wife Teresa and became a father to her daughter Bethanie Grace. Together, Scott and Teresa, had two more children, Joshua Timothy and Zachary Josiah, while living in Montgomery, Illinois. In the summer of 2015, they moved their family to Lafayette, Indiana, where Scott began working with a great team at Subaru of Indiana. The family found the love of God, in Faith Church, and made Lafayette their home.

Scott was a kid at heart, he liked to make leaf piles to jump in, and snow forts to play in along with his children. He enjoyed hiking and shooting hoops with his sons. He was always looking for a new board game, and he also invented and made homemade board games with his family, to add to their family collection.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Lorretta (Kirk) Chase, of Arizona and his sister, Nancy Billingstein, of Illinois. Scott is survived by his wife Teresa, his children, Bethanie, Joshua and Zachary, his sisters Jody Dickey (James) of Washington, Richard D. Chase (Lenore) of Arizona, Lori Etelamaki of Minnesota, Randy Chase of Arizona, and Wendy Tantlinger (Cary) of Arizona, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
