First with Beacon Specialized Living Services. He then advanced to work for Pathways as a recipient rights officer, where he investigated complaints of abuse and neglect. Most recently Scott was employed at the Department of Health and Human Services for the State of Michigan working with child protective services. Scott had a tremendous work ethic, which he learned at a young age helping his Grandma Carol and mom in the family catering business.

After returning from California, Scott met the love of his life, Dan Bjorkquist. With Scott’s talent for decorating and interior design, they remodeled and built their home together. Scott had so many talents and hobbies. He loved to cook and bake, and so enjoyed the many holiday meals he prepared for family and friends.
