In his working career, he loved construction and roofing.
He was a great friend and lived his life to the fullest. He cherished family time and listening to music. His nickname was “Sandman.”
He is survived by his mother: Mary; children: Scott Jr., Julianna, and Jasmine, all of Wisconsin Rapids; grandchildren: Cameron and Khila; siblings: Chrissy Johnson of Wisconsin Rapids, Kayla (Luke Keuffer) of Pittsville, Nikki (Justin Fremstad) Johnson of Eau Claire, Karina (Jermey) Cross of Wisconsin Rapids, and Colton Allen of Wisconsin Rapids; step-mother: Tina Johnson; step-father Rick Allen; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; Ken Johnson; sister: Nikki Allen; ex-father-in-law: Jerry Johnson; grandparents: Gordon and Hilda Johnson, and James and Violet Casper; and step-grandmother: Donna Johnson.
