Scot Vernon Greene, Sr., 58, of Palatka, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at his home. He was born in Jacksonville, FL, and had been a lifelong resident of Putnam County. He had worked as a control room tech at Seminole Electric and retired after 35 years of service. In his leisure time, Scot enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is preceded by his son, Scot V. Greene, Jr., parents, Harold and Shirley Greene, and niece, Angel Torrey.
He is survived by his daughter, Diana Greene, sister, Sandra Greene Torrey, nieces, Leslie Torrey Lewis (Richie) and Lacey Jacklyn Claunch (Robbie), great-nephews, Dylan James Lewis and Brandon Jack Lewis as well as great-nieces, Kyndal Ann Lewis and Faith Ann Claunch.
