Mrs. Sarah Ward Tingen, 93, a former resident of Durham died on Monday, February 6, 2012 in Yorktown, was born in Edenton, N.C. to the late Charlie and Joycey Chambers Ward. She retired from Durham County Social Services as a case worker. She is survived by her son,Jack Randolph Capps and wife Alice, of Las Vegas.
