Sarah Virginia Roxlo (Wright) passed away on Friday April 1 at Alexian Village, Signal Mountain. She was born January 23, 1924 in Crestview, Tennessee to Glen and Leola Wright, and was preceded in death by her first husband, Louis Hans and second husband William Roxlo. She is survived by her children Sharon Alexander (Jeff), Karl Hans (Ellen), Helen Delp (Gary), Jim Roxlo (Rita Heckrotte), Katherine Roxlo (Ron LaMee) and Charles Roxlo (Xina Quan); and by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a great-great granddaughter. Sarah was a talented seamstress, gourmet cook and a loving and devoted wife and mother to all her children. She had the unique ability to form lasting friendships everywhere she lived. Supporting her husbands, she moved to seven states and made a home in each of them. But she always had a fondness for the hills and the people of Tennessee, which drew her back to her final home on Signal Mountain. She was quick to laugh and loved a well-made Brandy Manhattan. With years of practice, she could tie a double knot in a cherry stem faster than anyone. With her husband Bill, she loved boating and entertaining, and they combined these activities to provide joy and great memories to friends and family.
