Sarah Lenna Renee Thompson Arnett, age 40, of Morehead, was born February 3, 1982, in Morehead, and passed away February 25, 2022, in Morehead.
She is survived by her parents, Sherry Caudill Kopp and Robert of Orlando, Florida, and James R. Thompson and Angie of Morehead; daughters, Audree Arnett of Wallingford and Kaleigh Kidd of Morehead; son, Kanon Kidd of Morehead; sisters, Halie Stidham of Morehead and Andrea Thompson of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandmother, Mary Jo Thompson of Morehead (whom Sarah named Mammie); nephew, Oliver Stidham; companion of nine years, Kevin Kidd of Morehead, as well as dear cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Rev. Arvel Sterling Caudill, Sr. and Luerene Pennington Caudill Ison, and paternal grandfather, Jack L. Thompson.
Sarah graduated from Rowan County Senior High School, Class of 2000. She enjoyed working with the public in several capacities, however, her greatest joy was derived from her loving family.
