D’ANGELO1924~2020Sarah Rose (nee Falcone) D’Angelo, of Marlton, NJ, passed away late on December 4, 2020 at age 96.Sarah was born in Villa Mascitti, in the Abruzzo region of Italy. As a young girl, she and her brother Luke spent much time with her grandparents before sailing to the United States as a young teenager to join her father and stepbrothers Nick and John in Philadelphia. Upon arrival to her new home, she embarked on learning a new language and prided herself with working outside of the house. It wasn’t long before she met Anthony – Tony – whom she married in 1942. A year later she become a young mother during World War Two, following her husband to Chicago with her son Louis, for Tony’s US military posting. However, Philadelphia was home and they soon returned with fond memories of Chicago. In 1950 Sarah and Tony welcomed their daughter Janice and with their growing family they moved to Broomall. Sarah was a housewife who maintained an immaculate home, created Italian masterpieces for meals and holidays, and ensured her children and husband were always the center of her heart.Sarah was a loving mother and wife.
