Sarah B. Smiley (Nee: Bunting) of Burlington, passed away on Friday at Cinnaminson Manor at the age of 93. She was born in Mt. Holly and worked as a clerk at Ft. Dix and then she retired from Pomeroy’s Department Store. Sarah was an animal lover and adopted many animals over the years. She was kind person to her co-workers and neighbors.
A self-taught piano player, she played for her Baptist Church for many years. A strong religious person, she also enjoyed gardening and tending to her house plants. She is the daughter of the late Donald and Anna (Nee: Pierce) and wife of the late Leonard M. Smiley. She is survived by her children: Donald Smiley, Sharon (Robert) Manton; granddaughter Melanie Williams; sister Edith Ramplin, two nieces and two nephews.
