Together we gather to celebrate the life of Sarah Malika Roberts, our baby girl who passed away on Saturday, February 4th, 2023 around 7:30 am, in her car and died of apparent carbon monoxide poisoning.

Sarah is surrounded by an enormous family, a multitude of loved ones, and, many friends. Sarah is survived by her two daughters, Luna Roberts, and Estrella Roberts and her parents Raymond Roberts and Lorna Roberts. Her older siblings, and only sister, Lakeisha Sprow, her two brothers stateside, Anthony Roberts and Solomon Roberts. Her two brothers in Trinidad and Tobago, Marcus John, and Marvin Jordan. Three dear nephews stateside, Isaiah Wallace IV, Kaiden Roberts, and Nathaniel Grullon. And four nephews in Trinidad and Tobago, Kaiden Jorden and Aden Jorden, Ameer John and Saad John. Her nieces stateside, Jalani Roberts, Ava Evens and Neveah Roberts, and Azahra Wright who lives in Guyana. Additionally, she was survived by a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Sarah was born in Silver Spring, Maryland on a bright day on November 23rd, 1999. Sarah grew up in the Montgomery County area attending Viers Mill Elementary School, Loiederman Middle School and attended both Albert Einstein High School and Watkins Mill High School, in Maryland. Sarah worked as a shift-leader at Chick-fil-a in the Bethesda Westfield Montgomery Mall. She then worked at Charles C. Smith Life Communities as a dietary aid.

Sarah’s goal was to become a licensed cosmetologist and was enrolled in Montgomery College to obtain her cosmetology license, and certification, to become a small hair stylist business owner.
She was an expert at braiding hair, installing hair extensions, faux loc, and doing various hairstyles. She was a skilled makeup artist and a wonderfully talented painter, tattooist, and piercer.

Sarah was predeceased by, Vivian Roberts, Joan Seally (Pats), Kathy Roberts, Elsa John, Bertram Leroy Joseph, Edwin Joseph, Patrick White, and many others loved and departed souls.

Sarah Malika Roberts will be dearly missed and always remembered.
