Sarah M. Mulcahy
Norwich – Sarah M. Mulcahy, 102, died Tuesday February 7, 2017 at the Glastonbury Health Care Center.
She was born October 3, 1914 in Norwich the daughter of Michael H. and Sarah E. (Mahoney) O’Neil.
Sarah attended St. Patrick’s School Class of 1927, Norwich Free Academy Class of 1931, and Boston University, where she pursued her love of the Humanities. She was employed by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and the Norwich Free Academy, where she was the Supervisor of the Career Information Center.
Sarah was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Cathedral and an active member of the Rosary Society.
She was predeceased by her husband Thomas F. Mulcahy, her sisters Ann and Dorothy, her son Richard J. Mulcahy and her granddaughter Kathleen M. (Mulcahy) Miskell.
Sarah is survived by three sons James G. Mulcahy, Michael T. Mulcahy and his wife Geraldine, John P. Mulcahy and his wife Deborah, her grandchildren Tim, Kevin, Erin, Sarah, Julie, five great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
